・Creating original new drug discovery concepts based on human biology to produce therapeutic drugs in the fields of neurological diseases and cancer ・Establishing in vitro or in vivo pharmacological evaluation models that match the targeted treatment hypothesis, and using these to identify and develop measurement systems for biomarkers that indicate the action and effectiveness of drugs in clinical trials for pharmacological evaluation of new drug candidate compounds, and measuring clinical trial samples ・Developing identification and measurement methods for new disease biomarkers using highly sensitive measurement technologies (mass spectrometry, immunoassays) ・Creating new drug discovery concepts based on human biology and supporting the search and analysis of related biomarkers using various NGS analysis/multi-omics analysis technologies ・Establishing data analysis and visualization methods that make maximum use of statistics, human genetics, pharmacology, medicine, mathematics, computer science, informatics, etc., and generating hypotheses from analysis results
