Work Detail
We are seeking researchers to conduct research and development of new technologies that contribute to our goal of "data-driven cell control," as well as to acquire cellular big data. We are looking for researchers who are motivated by a wide range of research and development, from basic to applied, and who can drive the development and commercialization of technologies for new drug discovery and the practical application of regenerative medicine, utilizing bioinformatics, machine learning, statistics, and mathematical science. Because we are developing new experimental technologies, we can analyze large-scale, high-precision cellular big data that is only possible at our company. Our research projects consist of [A] in-house research projects and [B] collaborative research projects with other companies. [A] In-house research projects: Research and development of cell control technology integrating single-cell and large-scale transcriptome analysis technology and cell culture optimization technology. (Example of research project) ・"Multiple cell lines × Research to acquire gene profile data and metadata for various cell states and promote the construction of our own integrated database - Research to improve the throughput of single-cell and large-scale transcriptome analysis technology by more than an order of magnitude from the current level - Research to construct cell culture systems, micro-culture medium preparation systems, and multifaceted cell evaluation systems in microspaces and improve culture condition screening throughput by more than two orders of magnitude from the current level - Research to enhance elemental technologies through laboratory automation and significantly improve the data acquisition process [B] Research projects conducted in collaboration with other companies: Collaborative research and commissioned research with other companies in the fields of drug discovery and regenerative medicine utilizing our own technology (Examples of research projects) - Phenotypic drug discovery and clinical biomarker discovery using single-cell and large-scale transcriptome data - Discovery of quality markers for cell-based pharmaceuticals and optimization of culture conditions using single-cell and large-scale transcriptome technology Depending on aptitude, etc., you may be ordered to transfer to duties instructed by the company.
Ideal Profile
[Required (MUST)] • Basic knowledge of molecular biology and bioinformatics • Completion of a doctoral program in a bioinformatics-related field, or at least one year of practical experience in bioinformatics-related work • Basic knowledge of statistics and machine learning (hypothesis testing, linear models, cross-validation, etc.) • Programming experience (either Python or R) [Preferred (WANT)] • Experience in omics data analysis, including NGS • Research and development experience in drug discovery and regenerative medicine • Experience collaborating with experimental researchers
Work Location
Either the Nihonbashi office or the Kobe research institute. *Remote work is possible in combination with other work; full remote work is also possible depending on experience. Please note that you may be ordered to transfer to a company-designated office (including relocation requiring a change of residence).
Phd. Stating Salary
Annual salary: 6-12 million yen (determined based on experience, skills, age, etc.) Annual salary increase, overtime pay
