We are seeking a Machine Learning expert for end-to-end autonomous driving technology development. [Background] Tier IV develops and operates Autoware, open-source autonomous driving software, and provides a wide range of applications, solutions, and services related to autonomous driving. The End-to-End Machine Learning Engineer position will be responsible for the design, implementation, training, and evaluation of machine learning models for autonomous driving 2.0. Rapid prototyping skills and familiarity with the latest machine learning research are required. Furthermore, given the limited computing resources of in-vehicle ECUs, the goal is to develop machine learning models that achieve high performance while adhering to time constraints. [Job Description] - Development of high-performance and robust end-to-end machine learning models for autonomous vehicles - Surveying the latest research papers, reproducing implementations, and benchmarking - Training, optimizing, and implementing machine learning models on in-vehicle ECUs - Data management (collection, selection, preprocessing), data quality improvement, and data pipeline construction for large-scale datasets - Design and operation of learning platforms (MLOps, distributed learning, evaluation platforms) for end-to-end model training - Contribution of autonomous driving technology to OSS - Establishing an open-source community for end-to-end machine learning models and collaborating with various communities and companies [Challenges and Rewards] Towards the realization of an autonomous driving society, we will develop high-performance and robust end-to-end machine learning models. Estimated Monthly Salary: ¥666,667 - ¥1,375,000 Base Monthly Salary: ¥492,667 - ¥1,017,000 (excluding fixed overtime pay) Fixed Overtime Pay: ¥174,000 - ¥358,000 will be paid as overtime allowance for 45 hours, regardless of whether overtime is performed. Additional premium wages will be paid for overtime exceeding 45 hours, as well as for holiday work and late-night work.
