Work Detail

The core of AdvancedSoft's business is the development and use of software for solving partial differential equations for physical phenomena using computers. You will work as an engineer in research, development and analysis of simulation software in the field of computational science (nano, semiconductor, fluid/structure, nuclear safety, pre-post, AI, information systems). For the first two to three years, you will work under the instructions of your superiors and understand the flow from receiving orders to delivery. From then on, I look forward to taking the lead in working with customers. ≪Example of specific work≫ ◎Research and development of simulation software in the field of computational science ◎Analysis using simulation software in the field of computational science ◎Nuclear safety analysis, probabilistic risk assessment (PRA) ◎Product development related to the above, etc.

Ideal Profile

Approximately half of AdvancedSoft's engineers have a doctoral degree (48 out of approximately 100 engineers have a doctoral degree), and we are increasing our recruitment of doctoral degrees. We are looking for someone who can accurately understand papers and researchers' achievements, and who is passionate about software development. After joining the company, you will take on the important role of deeply understanding the physical phenomena that customers need to simulate, converting it into mathematical formulas and models, and realizing it as actual software. This is the perfect environment for those interested in a wide range of technologies.

What we especially look for in a PhD or postdoctoral fellow

When joining our company, we place particular emphasis on requiring candidates to be proficient in either "physics/mathematics," "information technology," or "engineering understanding of phenomena." Furthermore, after joining the company, we have created an environment in which employees can become proficient in all of these areas through a comprehensive in-house training system. In particular, we are confident that those who are interested in fluid analysis, nanosimulation, TCAD, and AI development will be able to demonstrate their abilities greatly at our company.
