Work Detail

You will be responsible for the development and updating of testing systems, and the automation and advancement of machine learning pipelines. 〇 Development and updating of small RNA testing systems - Research design - Biomarker selection using statistical analysis - Building machine learning models - Setting quality standards and accuracy control - Designing and implementing analytical and clinical validation of testing systems 〇 Automation and advancement of machine learning pipelines for testing systems - Automating the cycle from model development to operation in collaboration with machine learning engineers and software engineers 〇 Development of novel methods for small RNA testing systems

Ideal Profile

Application Requirements (MUST) • Business-level Japanese or English • Linux/Shell scripts/SQL/Python • University graduate level or higher in mathematics • Basic understanding of probability theory and statistics • Basic understanding of statistical machine learning and pattern recognition • Experience in developing machine learning models using various frameworks (scikit-learn, keras, tensorflow, pytorch, etc.) *Especially, development and implementation of machine learning models using supervised learning for classification problems • Experience in research and analysis in biology or related fields Preferred Requirements (WANT) 〇 Development Tools • Docker • Workflow management language (snakemake) 〇 Machine Learning Experience • Learning on small-sized data • Learning on imbalanced data 〇 Knowledge and Experience in Related Fields • Experience in transcriptome analysis • Knowledge and experience in liquid biopsy • Knowledge of microRNA • Knowledge of cfDNA • Basic understanding of the principles of next-generation sequencers and quantitative PCR • Experience in research and analysis in biology or related fields • Wet Experience in laboratory experimental procedures - Knowledge of cancer biology and medical science or experience in analysis - Knowledge of the field of molecular diagnostics - Knowledge and experience in the clinical application of machine learning Desired Candidate Profile - Someone who strongly resonates with our company's goals - Someone who can tackle the unknown with a positive attitude without hesitation - Someone who can think independently, involve others, and drive projects forward with leadership skills - Someone who enjoys working in a team, respecting diversity, and achieving results - Someone who can focus on essential matters regardless of age or position - Someone who is motivated to solve social issues - Someone with strong hypothesis building and abstract thinking skills - Someone who has the agility to quickly verify information
