Work Detail
The main technical areas are machine learning and mathematical optimization, and you will be responsible for project management and technical guidance to members under the supervision of the group manager. The main work is "contracted development", and you will be assigned to a project and will work on it as a team. You may also be in charge of "product development" or may be assigned to multiple projects. ・Commissioned development: Develop and verify AI technology to solve client issues, and aim for actual operation. ・Product development: Develop our own AI engine for use in commissioned projects. Most of our outsourced projects are prime projects, and we can be involved in all processes from proposal to actual operation. For example, in contract development, a team of multiple people will perform the following tasks. ・Technical lead for numerical AI projects, including project planning, specification formulation, design, implementation, review, and evaluation centered on machine learning/mathematical optimization methods ・Identification of customer issues through client facing, proposal of technical solutions, report creation/reporting - Identifying tasks, scheduling, giving work instructions to engineers, checking results, etc., and promoting actual project work while reporting progress to the group leader (including outsourcing management) ・Alignment of technical solutions, horizontal deployment of technology, and feedback to in-house AI engine ・MLOps construction using cloud environments such as Azure and AWS ・Technical guidance within the team ・Technical research through international conferences, papers, etc.
Ideal Profile
Required skills ・Project management experience ・High level of expertise in general machine learning ・Expertise in either mathematical optimization or numerical prediction, 5 or more years of practical experience [Mathematical optimization] Expertise and social implementation experience in themes such as route optimization and scheduling [Numerical prediction] Expertise and social implementation experience in themes such as regression, classification, time-series data prediction, and anomaly detection. Deep understanding of algorithms such as deep learning and decision trees (GBDT) ・Understanding issues through data analysis, EDA, feature extraction, and appropriate model selection ・Implementation experience with Python, R, C++, etc. ・Project management experience ・Business level Japanese ability welcome skills ・Building data analysis infrastructure, knowledge of MLOps ・Knowledge of computer science, Linux, Docker, Git, etc. ・Research experience at a master's level or higher in information technology or a nearby field, or equivalent knowledge and experience ・Experience in submitting and presenting papers at domestic and international conferences and journals ・Ph.D. ・Participation/winning experience in Kaggle and competitive programming ・English proficiency (estimate: TOEIC 700 points or higher) The person you are looking for ・People who can sympathize with our company's vision and mission ・In-depth knowledge of AI and academic insights ・People who can propose solutions not only to existing problems but also to unknown problems - Ph.D. researcher level person who can provide appropriate explanations to clients as the center of the project

Annual income: 4 million yen to 8 million yen *The above amount includes deemed overtime pay for 25 hours per month.
