Work Detail
We will conduct research and development on the neural circuit pathology of rodent neurological disease models under the "JST Emergent Research Support Program (Research Project Title: Elucidation of the Information Distribution Principles by the Prefrontal Cortex)".
Ideal Profile
① Holders of a doctoral degree or those expected to obtain one. ② Those who have conducted research in the field of neuroscience (physiology, neuropharmacology, behavioral pharmacology, animal behavior, etc.) using mice or rats. ③ Those with experience in or interest in analysis using MATLAB, Python, etc. ④ Those who have obtained a doctoral degree within the last eight years as of the date of employment. However, for researchers of foreign nationality, those who have obtained a foreign license or qualification recognized by the organization as equivalent to a Japanese physician, radiological technologist, or medical physicist within the last eight years as of the date of new employment, and who are deemed to have the same abilities as those with a doctoral degree, are also eligible. If maternity leave as defined by the Labor Standards Act, childcare leave as defined by the Childcare and Family Care Leave Act, or family care leave has been taken after obtaining a doctoral degree, the period of leave will be excluded, and those who have obtained their degree within the last eight years as of the date of new employment are also eligible. ⑤ Those with a history of employment as a postdoctoral researcher at this organization are not eligible to apply.
