Conducting research and development into neural circuit pathology in rodent neurological disease models related to the JST Emergent Research Support Program (Research topic: Elucidation of information distribution principles by the prefrontal cortex)
Ideal Profile
1. Those who have received or are scheduled to receive a PhD. 2. Those who have conducted research in the field of neuroscience (physiology, neuropharmacology, behavioral pharmacology, animal behavior, etc.) using mice or rats. 3. Those who have experience or are interested in analysis using programs such as Matlab or Python. 4. Those who have received their PhD within the last eight years as of the date of employment. However, for foreign researchers, those who have received a foreign license or qualification recognized by NIAD-QE as equivalent to a Japanese physician, radiological technologist, or medical physicist within the last eight years and who are recognized as having abilities equivalent to those of a PhD holder are also eligible. If they have taken maternity leave as defined by the Labor Standards Act or childcare leave or family care leave as defined by the Childcare and Family Care Leave Act after receiving their PhD, those who have received their degree within the last eight years as of the time of new employment are also eligible. 5. Those who have previously worked as postdoctoral researchers at NIAD-QE are not eligible to apply.

Annual salary system, with compensation determined according to experience, performance, etc., in the following categories: Monthly salary of 370,000 yen, 400,000 yen, or 450,000 yen (including social insurance and tax)
