Work Detail
Our research division conducts group-wide research and development with the purpose of "healthy daily life, a rich life." You will be involved in projects that create new value leading to products and services through the analysis of omics data such as metagenomics, metabolomics, and epigenomics data, centered on gut microbiota research, as well as large-scale cohort data. We are looking for individuals who can not only perform data analysis but also, in the future, lead entire projects. Analysis of omics data (metagenomics, metabolomics, epigenomics data, etc.), including microbiome data (R, Python) General data analysis of cohort data and health checkup big data (aggregation, machine learning, causal inference, etc.) Planning and execution of new research themes *Collaboration with external organizations, planning and managing clinical research to acquire data, etc., may be required, and may be conducted at our facilities or at joint research partners.
Ideal Profile
[Required Qualifications] Experience in data analysis in omics research or cohort studies (bioinformatics, machine learning, causal inference, etc.) Ability to operate Linux in a CUI environment and perform data analysis using Python or R Basic knowledge of nutrition, physiology, biochemistry, etc. Master's degree or higher [Preferred Qualifications] Doctorate holder Experience in the food industry, pharmaceutical industry, or academia *When applying, please include details of your research and achievements.
