[About Research Positions at Ezaki Glico] Ezaki Glico's research positions are divided into "Product Technology Development" and "Basic and Applied Research." * Product Technology Development Research, part of Product Technology Development Research, involves working in conjunction with the Marketing Department to materialize plans and ideas. This includes formulation design and small-scale prototyping, as well as coordinating with the manufacturing department for mass production at the factory. Technical Research, on the other hand, promotes research on the technologies themselves that lead to product development, including research on the utilization of materials and microorganisms, and evaluation of functionality. * Basic and Applied Research promotes upstream research aimed at solving people's health issues, such as research on physiological functions, exploration of functional substances, and development and research of new materials. [Workshop-Style Internship Leading Directly to Recruitment] DAY 1: Orientation & Lecture: Deepen your understanding of the company and the work through orientation, company introduction, and introductions to the work of each research position. DAY 2: Individual/Group Work & Experiential Work: Conduct individual/group work on a topic related to Glico's purpose, and present a project proposal and research plan. Experience work unique to research positions, such as sensory evaluation and prototyping. A roundtable discussion with young employees and a tour of the lab and office will also be held. *Glico conducts job-specific recruitment to determine initial placement. All courses have the possibility of transfers across job types after initial placement.

Ideal Profile

* Applicants must be currently enrolled in a university or graduate school and expected to graduate by March 2028 (Science/Engineering majors). * Applicants must be able to obtain a standard Japanese driver's license by the time of joining the company (including conversion of foreign licenses). * Foreign nationals must also be able to speak Japanese at a business level. * Applicants must be able to participate in the entire internship program in person.

Work Location

All business locations nationwide, production subsidiaries, and overseas bases. *Telework system available. *Internships (recruitment-linked workshop type) are scheduled to be held at the Osaka head office.

Phd. Stating Salary

Doctoral degree holders: Individually determined Master's degree holders: Monthly salary ¥291,700 University graduates: Monthly salary ¥274,300 Technical college graduates: Monthly salary ¥245,300 *Bonus paid twice a year (June and December), various allowances including housing allowance, commuting allowance, and co-parenting support allowance available.
