A startup working on the social implementation of quantum computing is seeking a Solution Consultant! Job Summary * High-Level Technical Consulting and Problem Identification: * As an expert, you will engage in dialogue with clients' R&D departments regarding complex challenges and propose solutions utilizing physical models and AI. Through these dialogues, you will discover potential needs that even the clients themselves are unaware of, as well as opportunities that could lead to larger solutions. * Solution Conception and Planning: * Based on the identified needs, you will conceive a new solution concept. You will create a blueprint outlining "what kind of customers," "what kind of value it will provide," and "how it will be realized," and propose it to the internal development team and management. * Project Promotion for Plan Realization: * After the plan is approved, you will manage and promote the process until the solution takes shape, collaborating with the development team, sales, and external partners. You will play a crucial role in balancing technical feasibility with business requirements. * Building Relationships with Key Clients and Value Proof: * Deepen relationships with key clients that are central to the business, lead activities to prove the value of the planned solution (e.g., PoC), and build long-term trust. Ideal Profile
Required Skills * Deep expertise in a technical field such as physical modeling, numerical simulation, or data science, and an understanding of R&D challenges in the manufacturing industry (experience such as doctoral research or 5+ years of R&D experience in a company is expected). * Experience in structurally organizing complex phenomena and problems and deriving logical solutions (experience in research, practical work, or consulting is acceptable). * Strong curiosity and willingness to learn about business and technologies in other fields, not just one's own area of expertise. * Experience in smoothly communicating with diverse experts inside and outside the company and advancing projects through discussion. Preferred Skills * Practical experience at a consulting firm (especially in the technology and strategy fields). * Experience in uncovering customers' latent needs and proposing new technological approaches and research themes. * Experience in formulating business plans and estimating the cost-effectiveness of technologies. * Experience in some form of involvement in product management or service planning. * Experience in promoting joint research and development with external companies and universities. Desired Candidate Profile: * Someone who finds fulfillment in maximizing value by re-examining their expertise from a business perspective. * Someone who can proactively gather information, formulate hypotheses, and continue learning even in unfamiliar areas. * Someone who doesn't try to find answers alone, but collaborates with team members from diverse backgrounds to pursue better output.
