TIER IV develops and operates Autoware, open-source autonomous driving software, and provides a wide range of applications, solutions, and services related to autonomous driving. Perception engineers are primarily responsible for developing technology that recognizes traffic participants and stationary objects around the vehicle using onboard sensors, which is one of the most critical functions in Level 4 autonomous driving. Through development, evaluation, and benchmarking, we accumulate specialized knowledge in Perception and address real-world challenges. By making these technologies open-source and usable both internally and externally, we aim to accelerate autonomous driving development. [Job Description] - Design and implementation of sensor systems for autonomous driving (sensor configuration, calibration, synchronization, noise reduction, etc.) - Design and implementation of perception systems for autonomous driving using ROS 2/C++ (detection, segmentation, tracking, prediction, etc.) - Functional implementation for machine learning infrastructure/evaluation infrastructure, implementation of test code, construction of datasets for learning and evaluation - Contribution of autonomous driving technology to OSS TIER IV uses Autoware, a widely used open source autonomous driving software stack, to provide a wide range of applications, solutions, and services related to autonomous driving. Autonomous Driving Perception Engineers develop autonomous driving systems that can be deployed in various situations. Applicants will be favorably sought if they have a graduate degree in a related subject, strong software engineering skills, and demonstrated experience in the fields of autonomous vehicles or robotics. Phd. Stating Salary

Estimated Monthly Salary: ¥483,334 ~ ¥1,166,667 Base Monthly Salary: ¥357,334 ~ ¥862,667 (excluding fixed overtime pay) Fixed Overtime Pay: ¥126,000 ~ ¥304,000 will be paid as overtime allowance for 45 hours, regardless of whether overtime is performed. Overtime exceeding 45 hours, as well as holiday work and late-night work, will be paid separately as additional premium wages.
