Work Detail

■ Job Description (Immediately after hiring) Research and development of new devices using quantum technology and phenomena. Specifically, the design, fabrication, and evaluation of quantum devices such as quantum sensors, quantum memories, optical quantum devices, quantum communication devices, and quantum control devices. This also includes the design of electronic and optical circuits for controlling quantum devices, as well as the research and design of control software and the development of new materials. (Scope of Change) All operations related to research and institute management.

Ideal Profile

■Required Abilities, Experience, and Specific Qualifications - Knowledge and research experience in quantum mechanics, condensed matter physics, applied physics, optics, signal processing/information processing (including quantum information processing), etc. (a PhD is desirable) - Required skills and experience (even partially): Knowledge and experience in computer architecture, electronic circuit design, high-frequency circuit design, optical design, and optical integrated circuit design (Related Keywords) Quantum communication, quantum computer, quantum sensor, quantum memory, system architecture, quantum teleportation, spin control, optical integrated devices, quantum information processing ■Desired Candidate Profile We are looking for individuals who can collaborate with related departments and domestic and international research institutions to promote the development of systems utilizing quantum devices, while actively acquiring new knowledge and technologies and advancing research themes.

What we especially look for in a PhD or postdoctoral fellow

Knowledge and research experience in quantum mechanics, condensed matter physics, applied physics, optics, signal processing/information processing (including quantum information processing), etc. (a doctoral degree is preferred).

Work Location

Nagakute Head Office (Aichi Prefecture) or Tokyo Campus (Tokyo). Yokohama is a possibility from October 2027 onwards.

Phd. Stating Salary

Expected annual salary: 5 million to 11 million yen * Salary will be determined based on experience and abilities, according to company regulations. * For other details, please refer to the recruitment guidelines for experienced candidates.
