Main Job Responsibilities (Example): Identification of breeding target genes for improving aquatic product varieties Breeding work (breeding, chromosome manipulation, phenotypic analysis) Molecular biology experiments Aquaculture management Improvement of genome editing efficiency, establishment of new genome editing methods, shortening of breeding succession speed Consideration and planning of the above research plans
Ideal Profile
Eligibility Requirements (Required) PhD holders or those expected to obtain a PhD, or those with a Master's degree or equivalent. (For overseas applicants) Business-level or higher Japanese language proficiency. Eligibility Requirements (Preferred - at least one must apply) Individuals with a background in basic research Individuals with experience in aquatic organism rearing Individuals with research experience in molecular biology, physiology, or fisheries science Individuals proficient in biotechnology such as triploidization technology Individuals with experience in bioinformatics analysis Individuals with a desire to implement genome editing technology in society, create something new that has never existed before, and change the world Individuals who approach their work with a sense of professionalism and can contribute to teamwork Individuals who think about "how to do it" rather than "why it can't be done" Individuals who can quickly and efficiently advance tasks with a sense of urgency

Phd. Stating Salary
Senior Researcher: Monthly salary of ¥360,000 and up (varies depending on experience and qualifications) + bonus of ¥1,000,000 and up Researcher: Monthly salary of ¥250,000 and up (varies depending on experience and qualifications) + bonus of ¥700,000 and up
