Work Detail
We are seeking technical staff to proactively support the research and development of new technologies that contribute to our goal of "data-driven cell control," the acquisition of cellular big data, and the implementation of collaborative projects with other companies. You will primarily be responsible for the following experiments and lab environment maintenance: * Cell biology experiments (cell culture, subculturing, cryopreservation, screening, cell sorting) * Molecular biology experiments (cDNA library preparation, operation of next-generation sequencers and microplate readers) * Culture medium preparation (reagent weighing, preparation of solutions) * Document organization related to experiments (SOP creation, contract/invoice organization, etc.) * Lab environment maintenance (daily equipment checks, cleaning and tidying up, waste disposal, inventory management and ordering of reagents and consumables, etc.) * Other (document sending, receiving, etc.) Depending on your experience, you may also be responsible for research tasks related to cell culture and molecular biology (such as experimental system construction). Our research projects consist of [A] in-house research projects and [B] collaborative research projects with other companies. [A] In-house research projects Research and development of cell control technology integrating single-cell and large-scale transcriptome analysis technology and cell culture optimization technology (Examples of research projects) - Research to improve the throughput of single-cell and large-scale transcriptome analysis technology by more than an order of magnitude from the current level - Research to improve the culture condition screening throughput by more than two orders of magnitude from the current level by constructing cell culture systems in microspaces, micro-culture medium preparation systems, and multifaceted cell evaluation systems - "Multiple cell lines × Research to acquire gene profile data and metadata for various cell states and promote the construction of our own integrated database - Research to enhance elemental technologies through laboratory automation and significantly improve the data acquisition process [B] Research projects conducted in collaboration with other companies Joint research and contract research with other companies in the fields of drug discovery and regenerative medicine utilizing our own technologies (Examples of research projects) - Phenotypic drug discovery and clinical biomarker discovery using single-cell and large-scale transcriptome data - Discovery of quality markers for cell-based pharmaceuticals and optimization of culture conditions using single-cell and large-scale transcriptome technology Specific job duties and scope of discretion will be explained during the interview. Depending on aptitude, you may be ordered to transfer to duties instructed by the company.
Ideal Profile
Required Skills Graduates of science-related universities, junior colleges specializing in biology, or vocational schools specializing in biology or related fields • Experience and basic knowledge of all aspects of cell culture • Molecular biology experiments (RNA extraction, PCR, quantitative PCR, nucleic acid quantification, etc.) Preferred Skills • PhD, PhD equivalent, Master's degree, or equivalent • Experience handling multiple cell cultures, primary cell cultures, and stem cells • Experiments involving next-generation sequencers • Experience with flow cytometry and cell sorting • High-throughput screening • Preparation of reagents and culture media (weighing, automated dispensing, etc.) • Basic programming • At least one year of practical experience in a company or academia • Experience discussing data with researchers • Ability to perform detailed tasks • Ability to quickly learn and adapt

Phd. Stating Salary
Salary will be determined based on experience, skills, age, etc. (annual salary of 4 million yen or more), annual salary increase, overtime pay.
