Terra Drone Inc. develops and provides drone solutions with the mission of "Unlock 'X' Dimensions (Combining different dimensions to create a prosperous future)." The Unmanned Traffic Management (UTM) system provided through our group has been implemented in 10 countries around the world, and we have been ranked in the top three industrial drone service companies in the "Drone Service Companies Global Ranking" published by Drone Industry Insights every year since 2020. We develop, manufacture, and sell the drone-mounted high-precision laser mapping system "Terra Lidar," which performs 3D mapping by combining GNSS/IMU and LiDAR data measured in the air. We are seeking a mapping engineer for post-processing SLAM to evolve our product into one that can also be used as a ground mapping hand scanner. You will be responsible for designing and implementing the data acquisition and map generation system. Existing data acquisition and mapping processes are automated using ROS, Python, Matlab, etc.

Mechanical design engineer for satellite-mounted optical systems

We develop payload equipment and satellites for the Space Debris Removal Project, which uses lasers to remotely control the attitude and orbit of space debris, and the Satellite LiDAR Project, which observes the Earth's surface by shining a laser at the ground from a satellite. We are looking for a mechanical design engineer for lasers and optical systems, which are key components of the Mission Department. Specific job duties are as follows: - Design, evaluation, verification, and testing of laser oscillator housing structures that can withstand launch and space environments (mechanical environmental testing, thermal vacuum testing, etc.) - Design, evaluation, verification, and testing of optical component holding mechanisms/structures that can withstand launch and space environments (mechanical environmental testing, thermal environmental testing, etc.) - Work with thermal design engineers to design and verify heat dissipation/insulation structures and systems - Development support for instrumentation systems (wiring, etc.) - Design and development of jigs and other components related to the assembly, evaluation, and testing of mission components, including lasers, and launch preparation Note: We welcome those who wish to gain experience in or master laser development through consultation with engineers with over 20 years of laser development experience.
