We are looking for an "IT leader" to support research activities at a research institute within the Honda Group that conducts research on human-machine communication, such as artificial intelligence (AI), natural language processing (NLP), voice recognition, and robot operation systems.
This position will serve as both IT governance leader and corporate governance leader. You will propose the strategic direction of the IT system and personally execute the plan approved by the board.

- Planning, planning, post-implementation evaluation, improvement, and operation of corporate IT strategy
- Maintenance and management of security cooperation system with Honda Group and inter-group network
- Improvement and operation of governance system throughout corporate activities
Specifically,
- Formulation and promotion of IT investment strategy
- Introduction and management of research infrastructure systems such as GPU servers
- Comprehensive improvement and management of internal network environment
- Management of SaaS (AWS/Github/Atlassian/Office365/box/Slack, etc.)
- Improvement and operation of confidentiality management system and regulations
- Preparation and operation of internal approval system
- Maintenance and management of internal approval system, etc.
The mission is to support cutting-edge AI research activities and accelerate research while maintaining high security and compliance systems for IT systems.
You will align the organization's research strategy with IT strategy and effectively manage and operate IT resources. In addition, we will support efficient goal achievement through risk management and ensuring compliance.
Department: Administration Division (6 people in total, including accounting and labor)
The IT team has this position as the leader, and 3 contractors are active under him.
- An international workplace with about half of all employees being foreign nationals. Communication within the company is done in both Japanese and English on a daily basis.
- We have sister companies in the US and Europe (Germany), and we are developing a research project in collaboration with the three poles of Japan, the US, and Europe. The IT department also supports research in collaboration with the three poles to facilitate global information sharing.

Ideal Profile
[MUST]
・Experience in operating and managing corporate IT as a responsible person (5 years or more)
・Knowledge and strategy formulation experience regarding information security management including networks/servers
・Specialized knowledge and practical experience in designing, constructing, and operating IT infrastructure
・Ability to supervise organizational troubleshooting
・Experience in operating and managing confidential management regulations and approval systems (workflow)
