In order to realize "artificial intelligence that is close to people," we are taking a multifaceted approach from not only hardware and software engineering, but also brain science, systems science, psychology, social ethics, etc. In particular, research on Intelligent Communication (conveying information and thinking using various information such as natural language and body language) and Social Interaction (behavior for building and maintaining relationships between people) I put a lot of emphasis on it. <Example of HRI research and development content> ・Research to realize multimodal communication between humans and machines through interactions that take into account the human mentality ・Development of a speech recognition system that promotes mutual understanding between hearing-impaired and normal hearing people ・Development of a system for estimating human internal states (level of understanding, etc.) using cameras, wearable sensors, etc. <Job details of IT system manager> The IT system manager is responsible for maintaining and improving IT systems that support basic research in organizations that conduct research on human-machine communication, such as voice recognition, natural language processing, large-scale language processing, and robot operation systems. I'll enjoy having this. ・Lead corporate IT strategy planning, planning, post-implementation evaluation, and improvement plans ・Manage help desk team as group leader ・Development and promotion of company-wide security strategy ・Comprehensive management of internal IT, including service infrastructure and development areas (Github, Atlassian, Office 365, box, Slack, etc.) ・Infrastructure management of AWS, on-site servers, etc. in collaboration with the research department ・Maintaining and improving network coordination among Honda group companies ・IT asset management such as devices and GPUs
