This position concurrently serves as IT governance leader and corporate governance leader. You will propose a strategic direction for the IT system and personally implement the plan approved by the board. [Business details] ・Corporate IT strategy planning, planning, post-implementation evaluation, improvement, and operation ・Maintenance and management of security collaboration system with Honda Group and inter-group network ・Improving and operating the governance system across all corporate activities in particular, ・Formulation and promotion of IT investment strategy ・Introduction and management of research infrastructure systems such as GPU servers ・Comprehensive improvement and management of internal network environment ・Management of SaaS (AWS/Github/Atlassian/Office365/box/Slack, etc.) ・Improvement and operation of confidential management system and regulations ・Development and operation of internal approval system ・Maintenance and management of internal approval system, etc. <Mission/Mission> Our mission is to support research activities in the cutting-edge AI field and accelerate research while maintaining advanced security and compliance systems for IT systems. You will be responsible for aligning the organization's research strategy and IT strategy, and effectively managing and operating IT resources. We also help you efficiently achieve your goals through risk management, ensuring compliance, etc. <Team composition> Department: Administration Division (total of 6 people including accounting, labor, etc.) The IT team has this position as the leader, with three subcontractors working under him. <Work environment, etc.> ・A workplace with a rich international flavor, where approximately half of all employees are foreign nationals. Within the company, communication takes place in both Japanese and English on a daily basis. ・We have sister companies in the United States and Europe (Germany), and we are developing research projects that collaborate in Japan, the United States, and Europe. Ideal Profile
<Skills required> [MUST] ・Experience in operating and managing corporate IT as a responsible person (5 years or more) ・Knowledge and strategy formulation experience regarding information security management including networks/servers ・Specialized knowledge and practical experience in designing, constructing, and operating IT infrastructure ・Ability to supervise organizational troubleshooting ・Experience in operating and managing confidential management regulations and approval systems (workflow) [Welcome (WANT)] Research experience in computer science or university graduate in computer science
What we especially look for in a PhD or postdoctoral fellow
It is important for this position to have not only knowledge of IT systems, but also an understanding of basic research, and we especially expect doctoral graduates (including potential candidates) to deepen their understanding of our research in a wide range of areas and continue to learn.
