We use the latest materials technology and advanced manufacturing processes to provide innovative solutions for a wide range of industrial sectors. The specific job details are as follows. ① Research and development of new materials (composite anion compounds, MOFs, catalysts, structural materials, high entropy materials, etc.) At NGK SPARK PLUG, we are working on the development of next-generation high-performance materials. Specifically, we are researching composite anion compounds and MOF (Metal-Organic Frameworks) with the aim of improving energy efficiency and reducing environmental impact, improving the performance of catalysts, structural materials with excellent durability, and multi-component systems. You will be involved in the development of high-entropy materials. ② Development of peripheral technology and evaluation technology for effective use of materials In order to maximize the potential of materials, we develop cutting-edge processing and evaluation technologies. For example, we will work on designing processing processes to optimize the properties of new materials and establishing highly reliable evaluation methods, with the aim of improving product quality and developing new application fields. ③ Material development using data science We leverage data science and AI technology to innovate the material development process. Using big data analysis and machine learning, we build predictive models of material properties to improve experimental efficiency and promote the discovery of new materials. This promotes a scientifically based development approach that does not rely on traditional rules of thumb.
