Work Detail
[Immediately After Hiring] (1) We are seeking a URA (University Research Administrator) to oversee the research and development project promoted under the JST Advanced International Collaborative Research Promotion Program (ASPIRE) "Diamond Spin Qubits for Quantum Technology Applications," including research planning and progress management, travel/exchange coordination, practical work on results reporting, and overall research plan management including contract and evaluation support, as well as coordinating the activities of participating domestic and international institutions. As a URA, you will perform the following duties: * Research plan development and updating, progress management (including coordination with participating domestic and international institutions) * Support for contract and evaluation support (joint research agreements, commissioned contracts, evaluation-related procedures) * Development and operation of travel expense and exchange plans, cooperation in performance reporting/income and expenditure management * Management of research participant lists, support for results reporting and public relations, etc. * Liaison and coordination with project officers and the funding agency, the Japan Science and Technology Agency, and technical meetings and coordination with collaborating institutions, etc. (2) While this position primarily involves research administration, research activities can be conducted to the extent that they do not interfere with work. Research themes related to the ASPIRE project are recommended. (3) Possessing abundant knowledge, skills, and experience necessary for performing duties, participating in the formulation of organizational strategies, goals, and business plans to effectively assist superiors in decision-making, and ensuring the achievement of organizational goals while supervising subordinates, taking initiative, and producing outstanding results. Ideal Profile
(1) Must have at least 12 years of work experience after completing a master's program or at least 9 years after completing a doctoral program (a doctoral degree is desirable). (2) Must have work experience using English. (3) Experience assisting with research planning, progress management, etc., in research projects funded by external sources is desirable.
What we especially look for in a PhD or postdoctoral fellow
(1) Having at least 12 years of work experience after completing a master's program or at least 9 years of work experience after completing a doctoral program (a doctoral degree is preferred).
