[Features] This is a rewarding job where you will collaborate with the design department, experimental department, and suppliers to create automotive lamps. We are looking for individuals with experience in designing optical and resin components. [Job Description] [Overview] You will be responsible for the design and development of automotive lamps. Automotive lamp design encompasses a variety of themes, including the following: (Regulations) - Determining and designing specifications for lamps and exterior parts in accordance with the regulations of each country (Quality) - Building quality into development vehicles - Investigating the causes of quality defects in production vehicles and considering countermeasures (Performance) - In addition to lamp performance development, developing pedestrian protection, light collision resistance, and aerodynamic performance for vehicles (Product Strength) - Proposing specifications that balance attractive appearance, performance, and cost - Advanced development for future vehicles (Cost) - Proposing structures and specifications that balance product strength and cost - Planning strategies for parts commonality scenarios and vehicle-specific designs ■ Expected role for this position: Member/Team Leader [Background of Recruitment] To survive this period of rapid change, including stricter environmental regulations, the shift to electrification, the evolution of autonomous driving technology, and the rise of Chinese manufacturers, the Body Design Department also needs to strengthen its capabilities.
