■Recruitment type
We are looking for an "IT leader" to support our research activities at the Honda Group's research institute, which conducts research on human-machine communication such as artificial intelligence (AI), natural language processing (NLP), voice recognition, and robot operation systems.
This position concurrently serves as IT governance leader and corporate governance leader. You will propose a strategic direction for the IT system and will personally implement the plan approved by the board.

・Corporate IT strategy planning, planning, post-implementation evaluation, improvement, and operation
・Maintenance and management of security collaboration system with Honda Group and inter-group network
・Improving and operating the governance system across all corporate activities
in particular,
・Formulation and promotion of IT investment strategy
・Introduction and management of research infrastructure systems such as GPU servers
・Comprehensive improvement and management of internal network environment
・Management of SaaS (AWS/Github/Atlassian/Office365/box/Slack, etc.)
・Improvement and operation of confidential management system and regulations
・Development and operation of internal approval system
・Maintenance and management of internal approval system, etc.

Our mission is to support research activities in the cutting-edge AI field and accelerate research while maintaining advanced security and compliance systems for IT systems.
You will be responsible for aligning the organization's research strategy and IT strategy, and effectively managing and operating IT resources. We also help you efficiently achieve your goals through risk management, ensuring compliance, etc.

Department: Administration Division (total of 6 people including accounting, labor, etc.)
This position is the leader of the IT team, and there are three subcontractors working under him.

・A workplace with a rich international flavor, where approximately half of all employees are foreign nationals. We communicate in both Japanese and English on a daily basis within our company.
・We have sister companies in the United States and Europe (Germany), and we are developing collaborative research projects in Japan, the United States, and Europe. The IT department also supports research by collaborating across the three regions to ensure smooth global information sharing.
