Job Summary You will be responsible for the research and development of new technologies and the acquisition of cellular big data that will lead to our company's goals of "data-driven cell control" and "data-driven drug discovery." We are seeking researchers who are motivated by a wide range of research and development, from basic to applied, and who can work together to develop technologies for the practical application of new drug discovery and regenerative medicine, as well as their commercialization. Specifics: - Research into the creation of microspace cell culture systems, micro-volume medium preparation systems, and multifaceted cell evaluation systems, to improve the current throughput of culture condition screening by more than two digits. - Research into cell culture optimization technologies that integrate single-cell and large-scale transcriptome analysis technologies with the above-mentioned cell culture screening technologies. - Research into the development of "multiple types of cell lines × Research to acquire genetic profile data and metadata for various cell states and build our own integrated database. Research to enhance core technologies through laboratory automation and significantly improve the data acquisition process. [Other ongoing research projects] In-house research to improve the quantitative and qualitative throughput of single-cell and large-scale transcriptome analysis technology, achieving efficiency improvements of at least one order of magnitude. In-house technology development to expand data, such as the introduction of high-throughput technology that simultaneously measures omics information other than transcriptome. Joint research with other companies (including academia) conducting phenotypic drug discovery and clinical biomarker discovery using single-cell and large-scale transcriptome data. Ideal Profile
Required Skills Equivalent to a PhD in a science graduate program General cell culture experience is required Plus, 5+ years of research experience in one of the following: - Experience culturing multiple types of primary cells and stem cells - High-throughput screening - Quantitative analysis of biological materials - Solution chemistry and solid state physics - Cell performance and quality evaluation (proliferation, titer/potency, differentiation induction, etc.) - Biological experiment automation - Development of new biological experiment technology Preferred Skills - Experience developing rare cell culture systems - Research on transcriptome - Omics research and analysis, including proteome, lipidome, and metabolome - Cell sorting skills for rare cells - Knowledge of statistical analysis, Bayesian optimization, experimental design, and quality engineering - Expertise in drug discovery and regenerative medicine - Team management skills - Programming - Patent application experience - Overseas research experience - Business-level English communication skills
