LSI Division The LSI Division conducts research and development and manufacturing of glass components, mask blanks and photomasks, which are essential for semiconductor manufacturing. Mask blanks are the original materials used to create semiconductor chips. We offer both EUV (extreme ultraviolet) and optical (existing exposure technology other than EUV) products, catering to a wide range of semiconductor applications, from general-purpose to cutting-edge. As a leading company in the industry with the world's No. 1 market share, we drive the evolution of semiconductors in cooperation with semiconductor manufacturers and exposure equipment manufacturers. In recent years, we have focused on developing EUV (extreme ultraviolet) mask blanks, which are crucial in the manufacturing process of the latest generation semiconductors used in technologies such as AI, high-performance computing, and 5G. Job Description Process Technology In photomask manufacturing, you will develop processes to analyze and improve the process. Since mask blanks are the original plates for photomasks, you will work in collaboration with the Blanks SBU to develop elemental technologies. Production Technology The job of production technology is to establish a system for mass production of newly developed products. We will technically research and implement the know-how to integrate these development technologies and production equipment selections and introductions into the manufacturing process, and then achieve high-volume production and high quality. First Year Work The first two months after joining the company will be a training period to acquire basic knowledge, followed by a one-month provisional assignment before permanent assignment. You will hone your skills mainly through on-the-job training (OJT) with the support of your superiors and senior employees.

Phd. Stating Salary

■ For those scheduled to join the company in 2026 - Graduate school graduate (Doctorate): 320,500 yen - Graduate school graduate (Master's): 287,000 yen - Bachelor's degree graduate: 260,000 yen ■ Salary increase and bonus - Salary increase: Once a year (April) - Bonus: Twice a year (June and December / Performance-based)
