Job Summary ■ About Us Symbiobe Inc. is a bio-startup originating from Kyoto University (established in 2021) that aims to build a new resource recycling system by utilizing the power of microorganisms to transform underutilized resources in local areas into resources that can be used for industrial purposes. In societies like Japan, which rely heavily on imports for many resources, we aim to reduce dependence on external sources and build a more resilient supply structure by effectively utilizing underutilized resources within local areas. Our strength lies in our system of developing end-to-end processes, from basic research to establishing culture conditions, mass production, and application development, without any breaks. Currently, we are collaborating with multiple partner companies, including those in the energy and materials sectors, and are actively moving from research to social implementation, conducting demonstrations of culture and manufacturing in bench plants and verifying in real-world environments in fields such as livestock, fisheries, and food. ■ Recruitment Background As our business enters a scaling-up phase, we need personnel who can address the highly uncertain "challenges unique to the implementation phase," such as reproducibility of conditions, process stabilization, and cost-effectiveness. At our company, you can be deeply involved in both "production technologies that are currently being established" and "basic research that will be expanded in the future."
