■Job details Your main technical field will be natural language processing, and you will be responsible for project management and technical guidance to members under the supervision of the group manager. The main work is "contracted development", and you will be assigned to a project and will work on it as a team. You may also be in charge of "product development" or may be assigned to multiple projects. ・Commissioned development: Develop and verify AI technology to solve client issues, and aim for actual operation. ・Product development: Develop our own AI engine for use in commissioned projects. Most of our outsourced projects are prime projects, and we can be involved in all processes from proposal to actual operation. For example, in contract development, a team of multiple people will perform the following tasks. ・Identification of issues faced by clients and examination/proposal of technical solutions ・Technical research through international conferences, papers, etc. ・Analysis and visualization of client data ・Implementation, verification, and performance evaluation of technical methods such as deep learning and machine learning centered on natural language processing ・Technical consultation with a professor from Hokkaido University who is a technical advisor ・Report creation/reporting As a project manager, you will also be responsible for the following duties: ・Client facing ・Project planning, specification formulation, task identification, scheduling, work instructions to engineers, progress management ・Design, implementation, review, evaluation [Development environment] ・Mainly developed using Python ・Use and develop language models using libraries such as Huggingface [Assignment information] ・There is a regular mentoring system led by university professors, where students can consult about their projects and discuss papers. ・As this is a venture from Hokkaido University, we can make use of academia and cutting-edge knowledge.

Ideal Profile

Required skills ・Project management experience ・Expertise in natural language processing, text mining, and unstructured data analysis ・Advanced knowledge of AI technologies such as deep learning, machine learning, optimization algorithms, etc., and experience in these areas ・Development experience using Python, R, C++, etc. (5 or more years of practical experience in either) ・Native level Japanese ability welcome skills ・Interests, interest, and experience related to LLM including GPT ・Research experience at a master's level or higher in information technology or a nearby field, or equivalent knowledge and experience ・Experience submitting/presenting to international conferences/domestic and international journals ・Ph.D. ・Participation/winning experience in Kaggle and competitive programming The person you are looking for ・People who can sympathize with our company's vision and mission ・In-depth knowledge of AI and academic insights ・People who can propose solutions not only to existing problems but also to unknown problems - Ph.D. researcher level person who can provide appropriate explanations to clients as the center of the project

You will be able to take advantage of your experience and knowledge to propose research directions, goals, approaches, plans, etc., and work on challenging tasks. ・Speech recognition algorithms (acoustic model, language model, end-to-end model, diarization, etc.) ・Sound processing algorithms (time-series signal processing, voice enhancement, noise reduction, etc.) ・Machine learning algorithms related to the above (deep learning, etc.) Based on Honda's common philosophy that ``technology is for people,'' we aim to be unique in the world by leveraging our experience and knowledge to lead research and development with a sense of speed and innovative ideas.
