▼Role of an AI Research Engineer In the field of brain healthcare, our company delivers technology solutions for all health phases, from pre-onset to post-onset. We plan and develop a wide range of products, from a data platform that encourages preventive behavior among healthy users (consumers) to a medical device program (SaMD) that provides timely and appropriate medical services before and after the onset of dementia. Although we are a young venture, we are able to deliver a variety of products that solve global issues through technology thanks to the contributions of each and every member who shares our vision. We believe that AI research engineers will play a key role in further accelerating our business, building on the foundation we have built since our founding. The primary role of an AI research engineer is to lead the research and development of image processing technologies necessary to solve medical problems. The use of machine learning is particularly prevalent in the field of brain image processing. We expect the AI research engineer to select the optimal image processing technology based on the latest knowledge in image processing, including machine learning, and to lead the technical aspects of image processing technology in both the research and productization phases. ▼Specific Job Description [Immediately after hire] - Develop image processing technology using machine learning to solve clinical problems - Lead the technical aspects of collaborative research and product development projects - Implement image processing engines into prototype software and program medical devices, and devise and evaluate evaluation methods [Scope of change] General duties as defined by the company

Ideal Profile

Required Skills - Programming skills (at least one of Python, C++, or MATLAB) - 3+ years of research or development experience in image processing algorithms (including experience in a company, university, or research institute). Additionally, at least one project utilizing machine learning is required. - Ability to independently learn and keep up with the latest medical image processing technologies, including machine learning. - Communicative English (ability to conduct technical research through papers and discuss technical issues with colleagues in English). Preferred Skills - Experience in medical image processing research and development - Experience leading a research or development project on image processing technologies utilizing machine learning - Master's or PhD in a field related to image processing or computer vision. Phd. Stating Salary

Estimated Annual Salary: ¥6,000,000 - ¥9,000,000 Monthly Salary: ¥420,000 - ¥750,000 (Breakdown) Base Salary: ¥310,751 - ¥554,913 45 hours of assumed overtime pay: ¥109,249 - ¥195,087 *Fixed overtime hours are 45 hours per month; overtime will be paid separately.
