▼ Role of an AI research engineer In the field of brain healthcare, we deliver technology solutions for all health phases, from before to after onset. We plan and develop a wide range of products, from a data platform that encourages preventive actions by users (consumers) in the healthy stage to a medical device program (SaMD) that provides timely and appropriate medical services before and after the onset of dementia. Although we are a young venture, we are able to deliver a variety of products that solve the world's problems through technology, thanks to the contributions of each member who shares our vision. We believe that AI research engineers will play an important role in further accelerating our business, based on what we have built up since our founding. The main role of an AI research engineer is to lead the research and development of image processing technology necessary to solve medical problems. In particular, the use of machine learning is seen as a promising approach in the field of brain image processing, and we would like you to select the optimal image processing technology from the latest knowledge of image processing, including machine learning, and take the lead in the technical aspects of image processing technology in both the research and productization phases. ▼Specific duties [Immediately after hiring] - Development of image processing technology using machine learning to solve clinical problems - Technical leadership in joint research and productization projects - Implementation of image processing engines in prototype software and program medical equipment, devising and evaluating evaluation methods [Scope of change] General duties as defined by the company
Ideal Profile
Required skills
・Programming skills (Python, C++, MATLAB or more)
・Research or development experience of image processing algorithms: 3 years or more (including all experience in companies, universities, and research institutes) and at least one project using machine learning)
・Ability to learn and keep up with the latest medical image processing technology, including machine learning
・Communicative level English (ability to conduct technical research through papers and discuss technical issues with colleagues in English)

・Research and development experience on medical image processing
・Experience leading a research or development project on image processing technology using machine learning
・Master's degree or doctorate in a field related to image processing or computer vision

Expected annual salary: 6-9 million yen Monthly salary: 420,000-750,000 yen (Breakdown) Basic salary: 310,751-554,913 yen Assumed overtime pay for 45 hours: 109,249-195,087 yen *Fixed overtime hours are 45 hours/month, and any excess will be paid separately
