This is a position where you will contribute not only to development work but also from a leadership position, such as identifying technical issues and formulating plans to resolve them in internal and contracted projects. 【detail】 Phases in charge: Requirement definition, technical research, development, and verification regarding machine learning algorithms to solve domain issues (operation and maintenance are not in charge) ・Lead development in a leading position while communicating with team members ・Carry out technical communication with external stakeholders and adjust expectations. ・Develop algorithms to process various sensor data ・Identify ambiguous domain requirements as clear issues ・Method research, implementation, and evaluation experiments for domain issues ・Research and implementation based on papers, and devising and implementing original methods ・Reducing weight and optimizing machine learning models to run on edge devices ・Model design, experiment management, evaluation result summary, next action arrangement etc.

Ideal Profile

Required skills ・Master's degree in science and engineering field or equivalent experience ・Excellent knowledge of machine learning technology, mainly deep learning, and 5 or more years of practical experience (may include research history at graduate school) ・Experience developing technology that processes one or more types of real-world data such as images, point clouds, and audio. ・Ability to learn cutting-edge technology in English ・Ability to use Python and machine learning-related libraries/frameworks ・Have experience in creating results in a leading position in a project carried out by multiple people. ・Have native Japanese or business-level Japanese proficiency welcome skills ・PhD in science and engineering field ・Experience in domain application of machine learning technology ・Experience working on projects that require external collaboration ・Project management experience ・Knowledge and skills in code review, image processing, computer vision, and computer graphics ・Experience in efficient experiment management using computer clusters ・Development experience with edge devices such as Raspberry Pi The person you are looking for ・Those who can learn new technologies while making use of the technical skills they have already acquired ・Those who can proactively work on everything from background investigation, problem discovery, method selection, verification experiments, and result implementation. ・Able to plan backwards from the goal before making any moves ・People who are highly curious and enjoy learning new things even in areas they have never worked on before. ・A person who can summarize information in a document without too much or too little as a tool for information sharing and consensus building. ・Ability to communicate professionally both internally and externally

Phd. Stating Salary

Annual income: 7 million yen to 12 million yen *Our company determines the amount of salary based on the grade established for each job. *Grade is determined by the output level. *Details regarding the output level image and actual salary range will be provided during the interview. *Separate settlement bonus available
