【Mission】 "To enable software to handle all kinds of real-world information." Developing and verifying cutting-edge technologies that contribute to solving market challenges, primarily through machine learning for processing real-world data. 【Overview】 To achieve this mission, you will lead the development of machine learning algorithms that solve domain challenges. This position involves not only development work but also leadership roles, such as identifying technical challenges and planning solutions for internal and contracted projects. [Details] Phases of Responsibility: Requirements definition, technical research, development, and verification of machine learning algorithms to solve domain problems (operation and maintenance are not included). * Lead development from a proactive position while communicating with team members. * Conduct technical communication and expectation management with external stakeholders. * Develop algorithms to process various sensor data. * Clearly define ambiguous domain requirements as specific issues. * Investigate, implement, and evaluate methods for addressing domain problems. * Conduct research and implementation based on academic papers, and devise and implement original methods. * Lightweight and optimize machine learning models for operation on edge devices. * Model design, experiment management, evaluation result summarization, and next action planning. etc.
Ideal Profile
Required Skills • Master's degree in a science or engineering field or equivalent experience • Exceptional knowledge of machine learning technologies, particularly deep learning, and over 5 years of practical experience (including graduate school research experience) • Experience developing technologies to process one or more real-world data sources such as images, point clouds, or audio • Ability to acquire cutting-edge technologies in English • Proficiency in Python and machine learning-related libraries and frameworks • Experience leading and producing results in a multi-person project • Native-level Japanese or business-level Japanese proficiency Preferred Skills • PhD in a science or engineering field • Experience in domain applications of machine learning technologies • Experience working on projects requiring external collaboration • Project management experience • Knowledge and skills in code review, image processing, computer vision, and computer graphics • Experience in efficient experiment management using computer clusters • Raspberry Pi Experience developing on edge devices such as Pi Desired Candidate Profile * Leverage existing technical skills while learning new technologies * Take initiative and consistently handle tasks from background research and problem identification to method selection, verification experiments, and implementation of results * Plan by working backward from the goal before starting work * Be highly curious and enjoy learning new things, even in unfamiliar areas * Organize information concisely and effectively in documents as a tool for information sharing and consensus building *

Annual salary: 7 million to 12 million yen *At our company, salary is determined by a Grade established for each job. *Grade is determined by the level of output. *Details regarding the output level and actual salary range will be provided during the interview. *Performance-based bonus is also provided.
