[Responsibilities of the recruitment position] To achieve our mission, you will develop machine learning algorithms to solve domain issues. In addition to developing machine learning technology for use in the next-generation mobility field, you will also work with the leadership class to identify technical issues and formulate plans to resolve them. *This position is recruiting engineers for the AI Development Department, which primarily conducts contracted development projects. Phases in charge: In collaboration with external parties, we define requirements, conduct technical research, develop and verify machine learning to solve problems (operation and maintenance is not our responsibility). [Specific job details] ・Development of algorithms to process various sensor data ・Method research, implementation, and evaluation experiments for domain issues ・Research and implementation based on papers, devising and implementing original methods ・Reducing weight and optimizing machine learning models to run on edge devices ・Written record of the above process, summary with slides ・Model design, experiment management, evaluation result summary, next action arrangement, etc.
Ideal Profile
Required skills ・Master's degree in science and engineering field or equivalent experience ・Knowledge of applying machine learning technology centered on deep learning to one or more of real-world data such as images, point clouds, and audio, and 2 or more years of practical experience (may include graduate school research history) ・Ability to implement various deep learning methods and machine learning methods from scratch ・Must be a native Japanese speaker or have Japanese proficiency equivalent to N1 or higher welcome skills ・PhD in science and engineering field ・Experience in domain application of machine learning technology ・Team development experience including code reviews, task management, etc. ・Knowledge and skills in image processing, computer vision, and computer graphics ・Experience in efficient experiment management using computer clusters ・Development experience with edge devices such as Raspberry Pi The person you are looking for ・People who can embody Idein's values ・Those who can autonomously discover and solve technical issues ・Able to plan backwards from the goal before making any moves ・People who are highly curious and enjoy learning new things even in areas they have never worked on before. ・A person who can summarize information in a document without too much or too little as a tool for information sharing and consensus building. ・Ability to communicate professionally both internally and externally
