■Job details In order to acquire, promote, and manage R&D projects that deal with numerical AI (prediction/optimization) and strengthen the organizational structure, you will be mainly responsible for the following tasks while working with the R&D manager, deputy manager, and other group managers. . - Direct, manage, and evaluate about 10 group members jointly with one other leader. - Collaborate with sales members to understand client needs and propose research and development projects to clients. - Understand and manage the status of multiple individual projects (approximately 5 projects) managed by each site leader from a bird's-eye view. (Addition and reduction of people, goods, and money / Decision-making to appropriately delegate and intervene in project promotion work) - Provide guidance and training to group members (especially on-site leader class for individual projects). (*) We do not assume that you will be in charge of practical tasks such as coding. I look forward to being able to provide technical advice from a high perspective.
Ideal Profile
Required skills ・High level of expertise in general machine learning ・Expertise in either mathematical optimization or numerical prediction, 5 or more years of practical experience ・Understanding issues through data analysis, EDA, feature extraction, and appropriate model selection ・Implementation experience with Python, R, C++, etc. ・Project management experience ・English proficiency to be able to communicate with non-native Japanese speakers in 1on1 and evaluation interviews (estimate: TOEIC 720 or higher) ・Native level Japanese ability welcome skills ・Experience in submitting/presenting/reviewing international conferences/domestic and international journals ・Ph.D. ・Achievements in activities at academic conferences in the machine learning field ・Experience in patent creation/intellectual property strategy planning The person you are looking for ・People who can sympathize with our company's vision and mission ・In-depth knowledge of AI and academic insights ・People who can propose solutions not only to existing problems but also to unknown problems ・PhD researcher level person who can provide appropriate explanations to clients as the center of the team and project
