[Summary] As part of the Yanmar Group's goal of achieving a decarbonized society in the off-road sector, you will be responsible for research and development of technologies for utilizing hydrogen and other decarbonized fuels (CF/CN fuels) for a variety of applications, including mobility (such as ships, agricultural machinery, and construction machinery) and stationary facilities (such as generators and air conditioners). [Responsibilities] (1) Selecting CF/CN fuels that can be used in each application's operating environment, and R&D on energy storage, energy reforming, energy conversion, and exhaust aftertreatment appropriate for those fuels. (2) Drafting strategies for the same. Ideal Profile
Application Requirements [Either Required] 1. Process Engineering/Reaction Engineering...approximately 3 years Skills to control heat and fluids acting on the target fuel, change the fuel state to meet the equipment requirements, and rationally convert energy into work (shaft power, heat, electricity) 2. Fuel Cell Selection/Evaluation Skills...approximately 3 years Knowledge of fuel cells, a socially anticipated hydrogen energy conversion technology, and practical experience in their selection/evaluation 3. Knowledge of decarbonization trends in the energy sector...approximately 3 years Applicants must have a certain level of understanding of global players and trends related to the utilization of CF/CN fuels, and be well-informed about information useful for developing decarbonization-related strategies. [Preferred] ◎PhD, professional engineer, or energy manager qualifications [Required Industry Experience] Practical experience in research and development. Experience in strategy development is a plus. [Preferred Industry Experience] Passenger car/commercial vehicle manufacturing, energy equipment manufacturing, fuel cell manufacturing [English Proficiency] TOEIC: 600 points or higher
