(1) Research on ion acceleration using high-intensity lasers
Ideal Profile
(1) Applicants must be willing to independently carry out research on a research theme set by NIAD-QE. (2) Applicants must have received their doctorate within the last eight years at the time of employment. However, for researchers of foreign nationality, applicants must have received a foreign license or qualification recognized by NIAD-QE as equivalent to a Japanese physician, radiological technologist, or medical physicist within the last eight years at the time of new employment, and must be deemed to have abilities equivalent to those of a doctorate holder. If applicants have taken maternity leave as stipulated in the Labor Standards Act, or childcare leave or family care leave as stipulated in the Childcare and Family Care Leave Act after receiving their doctorate, applicants must have received their degree within the last eight years at the time of new employment, excluding those periods. (3) Applicants with a history of working as a postdoctoral researcher at NIAD-QE are ineligible.
