Ideal Profile

(1) Those who are willing to independently carry out research on the research themes set by this organization. (2) Those who have completed their doctoral degree within 8 years as of the date of employment. However, with regard to researchers of foreign nationality, at the time of new recruitment, those who have obtained a foreign license or qualification recognized by the organization as being equivalent to a Japanese physician, radiological technologist, or medical physicist within eight years, and who are deemed to have the same ability as a doctoral degree holder, are also eligible. If, after obtaining a doctoral degree, they have taken maternity leave as stipulated by the Labor Standards Act, childcare leave or family care leave as stipulated in the Childcare and Nursing Care Leave Act, those who have taken maternity leave as stipulated in the Labor Standards Act, childcare leave or nursing care leave as stipulated in the Childcare and Family Care Leave Act are excluded, and those who have been newly hired within eight years of obtaining their degree are also eligible. (3) Persons with a history of working as a postdoctoral researcher at our organization are not eligible to apply.

Remuneration is determined in the following categories based on annual salary system, experience, performance, etc. Monthly fee: 370,000 yen, 400,000 yen, 450,000 yen (social insurance premium and tax included)

Satellite laser development engineer

We are developing payload equipment and satellites for the [Space Debris Removal Project], which uses lasers to remotely control the attitude and orbit of space objects (debris), and the [Satellite LiDAR Project], which uses lasers to irradiate the ground from satellites to observe the ground surface. We are looking for a development engineer for the laser, which is a major component of the mission department. The specific duties are as follows. - Evaluation and verification of various optics (optical crystals, optical elements, optical parts, etc.) - Laser assembly and adjustment - Evaluation, verification, and testing at component level and system level - Evaluation, verification, and testing of optomechanics (mechanical environment tests, thermal environment tests, etc.) - Verification and evaluation of developed space power supplies and drivers - Heat exhaust system evaluation/verification/test support - Work related to assembly, evaluation testing, and launch preparation of mission parts including lasers Note: We welcome those who would like to gain or master laser development experience by consulting with us while receiving support from engineers with over 20 years of laser development experience. In addition, we do not require any experience, as we receive support from engineers with over 30 years of experience in satellite development for tasks specific to the space field (thermal control systems, environmental testing, etc.) that are not required in ground equipment development.
