This project, funded by the JSPS Grants-in-Aid for Scientific Research "International Collaborative Research Acceleration Fund (International Leading Research)" (Theme: Scientific inquiry into structural changes of matter and fields in solids and plasmas under extreme power laser conditions), will involve measurements of electromagnetic fields and density structures in gases and solid plasmas, as well as quantum beam measurements of particles, using high-intensity lasers.

Ideal Profile

(1) Holders of a doctoral degree or those expected to obtain one. (2) Those with experience in research using high-intensity lasers, radiation measurement, or plasma measurement. (3) Those who have obtained a doctoral degree within the last eight years as of the date of employment. However, for researchers of foreign nationality, those who have obtained a foreign license or qualification recognized by the organization as equivalent to a Japanese physician, radiological technologist, or medical physicist within the last eight years as of the date of new employment, and who are deemed to have the same abilities as those with a doctoral degree, are also eligible. If maternity leave as defined by the Labor Standards Act, childcare leave as defined by the Childcare and Family Care Leave Act, or family care leave has been taken after obtaining a doctoral degree, the period of leave will be excluded, and those who have obtained their degree within the last eight years as of the date of new employment are also eligible. (4) Those with a history of employment as a postdoctoral researcher at this organization are not eligible to apply.
