The following tasks involve the development of new spin properties and quantum functions in two-dimensional materials and wide-gap semiconductors using optical, electrical, and magnetic measurement techniques: Research and development of quantum sensors using spin defects and electron spins in two-dimensional materials and wide-gap semiconductors. 1. Development of new spin properties in two-dimensional materials and wide-gap semiconductors using optical, electrical, magnetic, and other measurement techniques and their quantum functions. 2. Research and development of quantum sensors using spin defects and electron spins in two-dimensional materials and wide-gap semiconductors.

Ideal Profile

(1) Individuals who are willing to proactively conduct research on the research themes set by this organization. (2) Individuals who have obtained a doctoral degree within the past eight years as of the date of employment. However, for researchers of foreign nationality, those who have obtained a foreign license or qualification recognized by the organization as equivalent to a Japanese physician, radiological technologist, or medical physicist within the past eight years as of the date of new employment, and who are deemed to possess abilities equivalent to those of a doctoral degree holder, are also eligible. If maternity leave as defined by the Labor Standards Act, childcare leave as defined by the Childcare and Family Care Leave Act, or family care leave has been taken after obtaining a doctoral degree, the period of such leave will be excluded, and individuals who have obtained their degree within the past eight years as of the date of new employment are also eligible. (3) Individuals with a history of employment as a postdoctoral researcher at this organization are not eligible to apply. (1)A person who is willing to take the initiative in executing research based on the research theme set by QST. Based on our annual salary system, the salary is determined according to the following categories based on experience, achievements, etc. A monthly amount of 370,000, 400,000, or 450,000 yen (inclusive of social insurance premiums and taxes)
