A startup working on the social implementation of quantum computing is seeking a Product Manager for its Quantum SDK! Background: At QunaSys, we are strengthening our product development to accelerate the social implementation of quantum computing. Product Examples: QURI SDK (Quantum Computing SDK), etc. [See link] We are looking for a Product Manager who can lead hypothesis testing toward achieving Product-Market Fit (PMF), while connecting short-term business value creation with long-term product strategy. Job Summary: As a Product Manager, you will be responsible for the following roles. While you may not be expected to handle everything from the start, it is possible to initially bridge the gap between development and business, expanding your responsibilities based on your areas of expertise. • Product planning and strategy • User interviews and identification of customer issues (determining the core of the product) • Formulation of product value proposition, product development roadmap for PMF, and consensus building with stakeholders • Formulation of key performance indicators (KPIs) for the product, and breakdown into functional and sales metrics • Product requirements definition and functional planning, and project management for implementation • Development collaboration • Specification adjustment with the development team • Prioritization of development and clarification of what will not be done • Understanding and translating technical elements (business ⇄ technology) • UX design (especially experience design up to quantum computing execution) • Business design • Consideration of customer value proposition and pricing design • Enterprise customer support • Articulation of product value and connection to proposals and orders in collaboration with sales • Team management • Design and optimization of the development system for product realization • Acquisition and training of necessary personnel, and appropriate delegation of authority • OSS and ecosystem strategy • Opportunity to be involved in formulating OSS utilization and release strategies
Ideal Profile
Required Skills Candidates must meet one of the following criteria: * Experience in planning, product management, or equivalent roles in software product development * Experience handling all aspects of a project, from customer interviews to requirements definition * Ability to understand technical content and explain it to non-technical individuals * Experience bridging business and development responsibilities * Business-level English proficiency Preferred Skills * Background in quantum computing, physics, or mathematics * Experience in planning enterprise software * Knowledge of cloud services such as AWS * Experience as a technical evangelist/developer relations * Experience participating in OSS projects * Experience working in English Desired Candidate Profile * Committed to achieving business results (revenue) * Strong interest in both technology and business, and able to move between the two * Able to make autonomous decisions in areas of high uncertainty * Values dialogue with users and can extract essential issues * Able to decide "what not to do" within limited resources
