Development of low-voltage vehicle power supply control software to support SDV

Work Detail

[Features] With features added via OTA (Over-the-Air), connected services accessible from outside the vehicle, V2X (Vehicle-to-X) technology, and autonomous driving, the value of cars is shifting from simply "driving" to "connecting and evolving." To realize this new value, advanced power management technology is essential to optimally allocate limited power and ensure that necessary functions operate reliably at the required time. Our department develops vehicle power control software and power management technology to support these needs. As a foundational technology for the SDV (Software-Defined Vehicle) era, you will have the opportunity to contribute to development that will be deployed across a wide range of Toyota vehicles. [Job Description] [Overview] As SDV and electrification accelerate, vehicle power is becoming a fundamental technology supporting all functions. Our department is responsible for developing vehicle power control and power management technology for the entire vehicle. We consistently handle everything from planning and specification development to control model development, implementation, and evaluation in-house, allowing you to deliver functions you design as value to the car. Furthermore, you will have the opportunity to challenge yourself in developing a new power platform for next-generation mobility, utilizing advanced development methodologies such as MBD (Model-Based Development), MBSE (Model-Based Systems Engineering), and generative AI. [Details] * Planning and specification development of power management control * Development of vehicle power control software * Development of control models utilizing MBD * Embedded software implementation * Verification using SILS/MILS/HILS * Actual vehicle evaluation * Consideration of the overall vehicle power architecture [Development Tools] Modeling: MATLAB/Simulink Development Management: Atlassian Jira/Confluence, Git/GitHub, iQUAVIS Simulation: dSPACE ControlDesk/ECU-TEST Communication, etc.: Microsoft Teams/SharePoint Online ■Expected role for this position: Member/Team Leader [Background of Recruitment] With the advancement of SDV and electrification, the role required of vehicle power control is rapidly expanding. With the spread of OTA and connected services, the value that cars provide extends not only while driving but also while stationary. To respond to these changes with speed, we are widely recruiting colleagues with experience in software development and control development.
