Job Description - Comprehensive data analysis, evaluation benchmark development, and training data construction for improving the Japanese language capabilities of the large-scale language model "Sarashina" - Development of task-specific models for translation, proofreading, and search Mission To develop technologies for improving the quality of natural language understanding/generation, contributing to an improved user experience of the domestically produced LLM "Sarashina". Job Appeal - Ability to utilize a wide range of knowledge and experience in the field of natural language processing - Ability to compete head-on with a computing infrastructure that is on par with overseas vendors
Ideal Profile
Required Qualifications • Research and development experience in natural language processing/machine learning (2 years or more) • Strong motivation and knowledge in the relevant field Preferred Qualifications • Research and development experience in natural language processing and large-scale language models • Experience in evaluation benchmarks/language resource construction related to natural language • Deep knowledge of machine learning and deep learning • Knowledge of classical methods for natural language processing prior to deep learning • Knowledge of linguistics and Japanese linguistics • Proficiency in visual grep and visual inspection • Experience in reading papers, reproducing implementations, or improving existing algorithms • Research and development experience involving large-scale computation • Experience in improving the operation of machine learning systems • Experience presenting papers at international conferences (including experience of having papers accepted at top international conferences) • Experience winning medals in data science competitions such as Kaggle Desired Candidate Profile A person who resonates with our business content and mission, and has the attitude and motivation to take on new challenges.

Phd. Stating Salary
Monthly salary: ¥541,667 - ¥1,500,000 Estimated annual income: ¥6,500,000 - ¥18,000,000 *The upper limit is not applicable. *Monthly salary/Estimated annual income: Base salary + Fixed overtime allowance (equivalent to 35 hours) *Overtime allowance applies only to general staff, and if you work more than the fixed overtime allowance (35 hours), it will be paid according to your actual hours worked. *Additional incentives may be paid.
