Work Detail

You will be responsible for visualizing multimodal information related to "humans" (images, genetic information, etc.) and performing machine learning-based analysis. Our company conducts collaborative research with many universities and research institutions. You will have autonomy in research activities, including discussions and coordination with external and internal stakeholders, and the formulation of analysis policies, allowing you to tackle challenges. Furthermore, you will have opportunities to discuss not only with academics but also with researchers and business development personnel from companies, and you can be involved in the publication of research results. Expected work responsibilities: Performing sequence analysis using next-generation sequencers, etc. Developing and implementing algorithms in the medical and life science fields through collaborative research, etc. Supporting omics analysis using AI technology (in collaboration with other engineers, doctors and researchers from other institutions) Technical presentations, presentations at academic conferences and in papers Responding to technical inquiries from customers and supporting the creation of proposal documents and improvement suggestions

Ideal Profile

Required (Difficult to obtain without these): Basic knowledge (undergraduate level) in fields such as life sciences, bioinformatics, and information science. Experience in analyzing omics data. Experience in development and analysis in UNIX/Linux environments, and basic knowledge of networks, databases, and security. Interest in data analysis × the bio field, and a desire to apply it to real-world situations and social issues. Native Japanese speaker or equivalent Japanese language proficiency (guideline: JLPT N1 or higher). Applications from recent graduates are welcome, but we are looking for candidates with practical project experience or equivalent development experience. Preferred (Nice to have): Master's or PhD in a related field such as life sciences, bioinformatics, or information science. Experience in machine learning, statistical analysis, or the implementation and operation of AI algorithms. Qualifications related to artificial intelligence and its applications, such as the G-Test, E-Qualification, or Medical AI Society certified qualification. Experience in research or practical projects utilizing image processing or machine learning. Experience in product development and operation in cloud or on-premise environments.

What we especially look for in a PhD or postdoctoral fellow

Applicants must hold a Master's or Doctoral degree in a related field, such as life sciences, bioinformatics, or information science.

Phd. Stating Salary

Annual Salary ¥4,300,000 to ¥7,500,000 is a guideline (commuting allowance is paid separately) *Includes overtime pay and bonuses.
