■ Job Description Algorithm improvement/proposal based on economic insights into products, etc. ▼ Examples • Prediction models for ad click-through rates/conversion rates • Product recommendations in dynamic retargeting ads • Ad creative selection algorithms • Optimal bidding strategies in ad space auctions • Experimental design • Causal effect verification of in-store measures • Prediction of individual causal effects and bidding strategies • Ad optimization based on location information and purchase data • Application of market design • Promoting behavioral change using nudges

Ideal Profile

◎Experience in analysis, model creation, and visualization using Python or R ◎Basic understanding of machine learning ◎Basic understanding of econometrics and causal inference ◎Ability to analyze and propose solutions based on an understanding of the business ◎Ability to research relevant papers on business challenges, read and reproduce those papers ◎Ability to approach business challenges from an economic perspective 【Highly desirable】 Candidates who meet any of the following criteria: ◯Experience with papers using econometrics and causal inference accepted by English peer-reviewed journals ◯Experience with papers accepted at international conferences on machine learning and artificial intelligence ◯Experience in proposing improvements to algorithms based on data analysis ◯Experience in implementing machine learning algorithms
