CAE Researcher

QunaSys is recruiting researchers to conduct research and development in the field of CAE (Computer-Aided Engineering)! Job Description - CAE is a fundamental technology supporting manufacturing in industries such as automotive, aerospace, energy, materials, and manufacturing. However, high-precision simulations require enormous computing resources, making computation time and cost major challenges. - At QunaSys, we aim to realize next-generation simulation technology that surpasses the limitations of conventional CAE by integrating quantum computing, numerical simulation, and AI. CAE Research Team Mission - Our goal is to accelerate innovation in manufacturing by integrating quantum computing and CAE (Computer-Aided Engineering) to achieve large-scale, high-precision simulations that were difficult with conventional supercomputers alone. - To achieve this, we are developing next-generation CAE workflows that integrate numerical analysis methods for nonlinear partial differential equations, such as CFD (Computational Fluid Dynamics), with quantum algorithms and fault-tolerant quantum computing to solve industrial challenges in automotive, aerospace, energy, materials, and manufacturing. Specific Job Responsibilities (Flexible approach based on skills and interests) * Research and Development of Quantum Algorithms for CAE Research and development of quantum algorithms related to fluid analysis, structural analysis, thermal fluid analysis, electromagnetic field analysis, acoustic analysis, etc. Exploration of computationally valuable problems. * Hybrid Integration with Classical Computation Design and development of scalable CAE workflows that appropriately combine classical and quantum computers. Design and development of pre-processing, solvers, and post-processing based on quantum computers. * Problem Solving with Clients and Collaborating Partners (PoC, Joint Development) Hearing client and researcher challenges and proposing solutions from the perspective of CAE and quantum computing. Iterative improvement through PoC design, regular reporting, and feedback. Publication of results through collaborative research (papers, benchmark/demo PR). • Balancing field-leading innovative research with practical social implementation in industrial settings We grasp the latest papers and trends, and propose and promote research themes that balance feasibility and impact. Through collaborative research with universities and companies, we create new technologies that are globally applicable and advance their application to real-world problems. We collaborate with other teams to accelerate the productization of technologies and the social implementation of results.
